Amateur
Every fight lasts 3 rounds. Rounds are 4 minutes each with 1 minute rest between rounds.                            

Full Pro
Every non Title fight lasts 3 rounds. Rounds are 5 minutes each with 1 minute rest between rounds. Title fights are 5 x 5 minute rounds.

Pro Rules - Fouls
• Downward Elbow Strikes
• Head butting
• eye gouging
• biting or spitting
• hair pulling
• fish hooking
• groin attacks
• intentional insertion of finger in orifice
• small joint manipulation
• strikes to spine or back of head
• heel kicks to kidney
• throat strikes of any kind
• clawing or pinching
• kicking the head of a grounded fighter
• kneeing the head of a grounded fighter
• Head stomping of a grounded fighter
• holding the fence
• abusive language
• unsportsmanlike conduct causing injury
• attacking during break
• attacking opponent under ref's care
• timidity
• corner interference
• throwing opponent out of ring
• ignoring ref
• spiking an opponent on his head or neck
• throwing in the towel
• DQ occurs after any combo of 3 fouls or a flagrant foul
• A fouled fighter has up to 5 minutes to recuperate

 

Amateur Rules Fouls
Same as Pro rules with the exception of the following:
• No elbows to the head
• No knees to the head
• No heel hooks
• No twisting knee bars
• No neck cranks

•  TKO called by ref or doctor
•  KO by failure to rise from the canvas

 

Decision Via Score Cards
• Unanimous: All judges score bout the same
• Split: 2 judges in favour of one contestant one judge score the other
• Majority: 2 judges in favour of one contestant one judge scores a draw
• Draw Unanimous: All judges score bout a draw
• Draw Majority: When 2 judges score the bout a draw
• Draw Split: When all 3 judges score differently
• DQ
• Forfeit

 

Judging
All bouts will be evaluated and scored by three judges.

The 10-Point Must System will be the standard system of scoring a bout. Under the 10-Point Must Scoring System, 10 points must be awarded to the winner of the round and nine points or less must be awarded to the loser, except for a rare even round, which is scored (10-10).

Judges shall evaluate mixed martial arts techniques, such as effective striking, effective grappling, control of the fighting area, effective aggressiveness and defense.
